Aylish has played the role of Hermia in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and has had the opportunity to work with director Stuart Maunder in the Queensland Conservatorium’s production of Iolanthe, where she played the role of Leila. In 2023, she performed the role of Orfeo in the Queensland Conservatorium’s production of Orpheus! and in September of 2023 she appeared as Orfeo again in Underworld: A Journey to Hell and Back at the Conservatorium, working alongside accomplished director and playwright Michael Gow and Maestro Johannes Fritzsch. Aylish is a passionate and dedicated musician who has adored music from a very young age and developed a particular love of opera. She loves connecting with her audience in a way that she believes only music can, and the emotional depth and challenges of delving into new characters and concepts.
