Sarah is a Soprano from Dunedin, NZ. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Otago and a Post Graduate Certificate in Opera Studies from the Queensland Conservatorium under the tutelage of Margaret Schindler.

Most notably Sarah was named as a grand finalist in the prestigious NZ Lexus Song Quest in 2022 at just 21 years old. Sarah has been involved in numerous New Zealand Competitions. Most recently she was the winner of the Canterbury Opera Foundation Aria Competition and was a finalist in the NZ Aria competition in 2023. In Australia thus far, Sarah has found success winning the Joyce Campbell Lloyd Travel Scholarship through QCGU. Sarah made her debut with New Zealand Opera in 2022 in their production of Macbeth as an Apparition. Along with New Zealand Opera, Sarah has been a regular performer with Opera Otago. Sarah is an alumni of the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 New Zealand Opera Schools.

Sarah will soon embark to London to study in the Masters programme at the Royal Academy of Music in London starting in September 2024.
